Meet Our Teachers
The teachers at Sweet Peas are delighted that you are considering our program for your child. Read on to learn a bit about us and then be sure to set up a personal interview with our Director.
Stacy founded Sweet Peas in 2011.  It was a long journey that led her to her dream to open a preschool.  Stacy graduated from Elmira college with BA in Education. She then went on to teach in elementary schools for 4 years. Stacy also received her MS in Early Childhood from Rhode Island College.  In 2000, she became a mom and opened a NYS licensed family daycare. Between the "cracks" of these major life roles, Stacy has also been a Sunday School teacher, Girl Scout leader, nanny and a summer camp director.   All of these experiences in Stacy's life have been stepping stones to her dream of offering top quality early childhood education for the children of our community. She looks forward to working with your family.
Jamie is a West Virginia native who graduated from Marshall University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.  She has worked with Sweet Peas as an assistant teacher since we opened in 2011.  Jamie is a mom of two and a Sunday School teacher.   In addition to these rewarding tasks she is also a perpetual soccer mom, chauffeuring her daughters to numerous sporting ventures.   Jamie cannot wait to meet the wonderful children that will join our Sweet Peas family.
